Enhance, a GCC-built operating system for personal training, has raised $18.2 million in a combined equity and debt round, backing further expansion of software already running inside more than 700 gyms in the United States and the Gulf.

The round combined equity investment from Global Ventures with venture debt from Stride Ventures. It marks another vote of confidence in a company that Global Ventures has backed across successive funding rounds.

From the GCC to the US gym floor

Enhance's software has been licensed in the US since January 2025 and is now used across gym chains including Crunch Fitness, In-Shape Family Fitness, UFC Gym and PureGym USA. Across its markets, the platform supports 15,000 personal trainers and more than 500,000 booked personal training sessions each month.

The company describes itself as among the first GCC-built software platforms to be exported and deployed at scale in the US market. Its revenue has compounded at a 65% annual growth rate since 2019.

In the Gulf, Enhance's anchor partner is GymNation, for which it runs personal training operations across locations in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. Saudi Arabia is Enhance's highest-growth market outside the US, and the company also operates in Qatar.

Why personal training software matters

Enhance positions personal training as the most profitable revenue line inside a gym, yet also the least systematized part of the business, which is where its software is meant to help.

The company points to the economics behind that pitch: at a typical high-volume, low-price gym with 10,000 to 12,000 members, converting just 3% to 4% of those members to personal training can generate revenue comparable to the gym's entire membership income. At mature high-volume, low-price sites running on Enhance's platform, personal training revenues can reach $85,000 per club per month. The global personal training market is valued at $42 billion.

Enhance describes itself as an AI-native company, built into how it manages bookings, trainers and gym operations across its markets.

Backers see regional software going global

Noor Sweid, Founder and Managing Partner at Global Ventures, said the firm's belief in Enhance has grown with each round. "Global Ventures has backed Enhance across successive rounds, and our belief in the business has only deepened over that period. From the outset, Tarek and the team were building for global markets, and the company's establishment in the US, alongside its GCC operations, reflects the scale of that ambition. Enhance demonstrates that companies founded in this region can compete and win in the world's most developed markets."

Sweid added that the company's GCC track record gives Global Ventures confidence in its US push. "Enhance is proof of what this region can produce – a homegrown, category-defining and already the go-to partner for the likes of GymNation across the GCC markets. That same conviction is now underpinning the expansion into the US, the world's largest gym market, and we are excited to support the next leg of growth for Enhance."
