Dubai will host the inaugural Dubai Environment Conference & Exhibition on 7–8 September 2026 at the Grand Hyatt Dubai, under the patronage of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
The event is being organised by the Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority, a body established under Law No. (11) of 2024. Its arrival marks the authority's first major public gathering since its formation, bringing together specialists working across sustainability and environmental protection.
What the conference will cover
The conference carries the theme 'Protecting Our Environment… Securing Our Future' and will centre on six focus areas: biodiversity, natural resources, food security, climate change, the circular economy, and environmental artificial intelligence.
Programming will include panel discussions, research presentations, and expert-led sessions, alongside a specialised environmental exhibition running alongside the main conference sessions.

Ahmed Mohammed bin Thani, Director General of the Dubai Environment and Climate Change Authority, said the event "will bring together leading specialists in sustainability and environmental protection from across the UAE and the wider region." He added that its inaugural edition "reflects Dubai's commitment to strengthening environmental protection and climate action, both of which are integral to the emirate's journey towards sustainable growth."
