Dubai-founded proptech company Huspy has acquired Italian credit intermediary Integra Finance, marking its entry into Italy and its fourth market overall after the UAE, Spain and Saudi Arabia.

The company plans to invest US$86 million (AED315 million) in Italy, directing the money toward building a mortgage finance and real estate business there. For UAE readers watching the growth of homegrown proptech, the deal shows Huspy pushing further into Europe rather than only expanding regionally.

What Integra Finance brings to the deal

Integra Finance was founded in 2020 and serves individuals, professionals and businesses with mortgages, personal loans, corporate financing, and salary- and pension-backed loans. More than 160 advisors work across its network, backed by partnerships with over 50 banking, financial and insurance partners. Integra also owns Bicher, a subsidiary that provides insurance services.

Huspy says it plans to combine Integra's advisor network with its own AI-based platform for real estate agents and mortgage consultants, aiming to fold Italian operations into the same technology it uses across its other markets.

A pattern of acquisitions

The Integra Finance purchase is Huspy's fifth acquisition in credit intermediation. It previously acquired Home Matters in the UAE in 2021 and Mortgage Direct in Spain in 2023, building out its footprint market by market rather than launching from scratch each time. With Italy added, Huspy's operations now span 15 cities across its markets.

"We are doubling down on Europe, and Italy is central to our next phase of growth," Huspy said.

The company also linked the move to broader ties between the UAE and Italy, saying: "Our investment builds on the long-standing economic partnership between our two nations, reflected in the UAE's USD 40 billion investment commitment announced in February 2025 during HH Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed's visit to Italy."

What comes next

Huspy has said it will focus on Italy through 2026 and 2027, before looking to enter further markets across Europe and the MENA region. For now, the immediate task is integrating Integra Finance's advisor network and partner relationships with Huspy's platform, a process that will determine how quickly the Dubai-founded company can scale its mortgage and real estate business in a new market.
