The Arab Social Media Influencers Summit (ASMIS) is bringing together influencers, content creators and industry experts in Dubai to examine where digital media and content creation are headed next.

Held under the umbrella of the Arab Media Summit, ASMIS is organised by the Dubai Press Club under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council. First launched in 2015, the Summit has grown into a recurring gathering point for Arabic-language content creators and the platforms, brands and institutions that work with them.

What the sessions cover

This edition's programme spans security, health, commerce and sport. A session titled 'Media and Fifth-Generation Warfare' features His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, in conversation with Sky News Arabia presenter Sami Qasimi.

Content creation itself gets close attention. 'Tools for Impactful Content Creation' brings together creators Rawaa Al Jallad, Musab Al-Tuwaijry and Omar Kaskas, moderated by Moniify financial journalist Nourhan Abo Samra, while 'Boundless Reach Across Digital Platforms' features Saba Shamaa, Abir Al Saghir and Esraa Nabil, moderated by Walid Elmusrati.
