The Dubai Women Establishment has signed a memorandum of understanding with DIB Academy to expand cooperation on women's empowerment, knowledge exchange and capacity development, a move that will shape training and leadership opportunities for female employees at both organisations.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Emirati Women's Forum 2026, organised by the Dubai Women Establishment to mark Emirati Women's Day under the theme 'We Emerge Stronger and Better'.
What the agreement covers
The MoU sets up a framework for supporting and empowering women and advancing gender balance across both institutions. Under its terms, the Dubai Women Establishment and DIB Academy will exchange research, studies and expertise on women's empowerment, and will work together on programmes and workshops aimed at developing the personal, professional and leadership skills of female employees.
The agreement also aims to enhance institutional performance and strengthen the technical and administrative capabilities of staff at both organisations.
Who signed and what it means for employees
Her Excellency Naeema Ahli, CEO of the Dubai Women Establishment, signed the agreement alongside Ms. Rafia Al Abbar, Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources at DIB.
As a result of the partnership, female employees will have the chance to take part in forums, conferences, workshops, and local and international training programmes, giving them broader access to professional development beyond their day-to-day roles.
