Euronews Chairman Pedro David will take part in the Arab Media Summit 2026, set to take place in Dubai from 15 to 17 September, the Dubai Press Club has announced.
His participation brings one of Europe's leading international news channels into a summit that draws media leaders from across the world to discuss the industry's most pressing issues.
A European voice at the summit
Euronews delivers content across multiple platforms and in several languages, giving it a broad reach across European audiences. Its chairman's presence at the Dubai gathering signals the summit's continued pull for major international broadcasters.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, Director General of the Government of Dubai Media Office, and President of the Dubai Press Club, said Euronews' involvement strengthens the event's international character.
"Euronews' participation adds an important European dimension to the Summit, drawing on the experience of an international media organisation operating across diverse markets, languages and cultures," Al Marri said.
She added that the summit is designed to bring together a wide range of perspectives from the global media industry. "The Summit brings together diverse global media experiences and approaches to the key issues defining the sector today and its future," Al Marri said.
What the summit covers
The Arab Media Summit 2026 is organised by the Dubai Press Club and will run for three days in Dubai, positioning the city as a meeting point for regional and international media figures. Pedro David's participation adds to the roster of global names expected to engage with the industry's evolving landscape, from shifting audience habits to the role of international broadcasters operating across multiple markets.
For Dubai's media and business community, the summit offers a direct line to how established European outlets like Euronews are navigating change, and a chance to see how those experiences intersect with the priorities of Arab media organisations gathering in the same rooms over the three days.
