Gulf Craft is building its largest and most ambitious yacht yet at its shipyard in Umm Al Quwain, where the 44-metre Majesty 145 is taking shape as the company's newest flagship.

The vessel was toured at the shipyard, offering a look at how Gulf Craft, based in the UAE, is pushing the scale and technology of its Majesty line forward.

Inside the Majesty 145's layout

The interior design comes from Cristiano Gatto, and the yacht is configured with six cabins. The owner's suite sits forward on the main deck and includes an infrared sauna, while a fully equipped gym is located directly upstairs from it.

One of the yacht's standout features is a pair of infinity pools, one on the main deck and a second on the sundeck, giving owners and guests two distinct spaces to relax at different points on the vessel.

Engineering built into the build

Gulf Craft has fitted the Majesty 145 with a heat recovery system that captures residual heat from the engines. That reclaimed heat is used to supply hot water and warm the main-deck pool while the yacht is underway, a practical use of energy that would otherwise be wasted.

Safety and storage have also been addressed with advanced fire suppression systems throughout the yacht, along with purpose-built lithium battery storage designed specifically for water toys.

Owners are not locked into a single fixed design either. The Majesty 145 is offered on a semi-custom platform, allowing buyers to tailor key areas of the yacht to their preferences.

What the CEO says it's for

Erwin Bamps, CEO of Gulf Craft, framed the appeal of yachting in terms that go beyond specifications. "Yachts are an investment in quality of life… that's where I can guarantee the return," he said.

Bamps also described the mindset that comes with time on the water: "Yachting is about doing nothing… for once, I don't need a plan."

The Majesty 145 is being positioned within a class of yachts associated with destinations such as Saint-Tropez and the Amalfi Coast, reflecting the international market Gulf Craft is targeting with its latest build from Umm Al Quwain.

With its combination of scale, semi-custom flexibility and onboard engineering choices like the heat recovery system, the Majesty 145 represents a significant step up for Gulf Craft as it expands what its flagship yachts can offer owners.
