Mediclinic Middle East has announced an AED420 million investment to expand Mediclinic Parkview Hospital in Dubai, a move set to widen access to specialised healthcare for residents across south Dubai.
The expansion is designed to strengthen the hospital's capabilities in specialised and advanced medical services, with a particular focus on communities in the southern parts of the emirate that have relied on the hospital as a key point of access to care.
What the expansion adds
The project will introduce new oncology facilities built to support high-quality services within a superior standard of care, with infrastructure designed to accommodate future advanced oncology developments.
Paediatric services will also be enhanced, including a dedicated paediatric urgent care unit. Musculoskeletal, sports medicine and physiotherapy services will expand as well, with new facilities covering treatment, recovery and rehabilitation.
On the surgical side, the hospital will gain new day surgery theatres and day care suites, adding capacity for procedures that do not require overnight stays.
Building a more connected patient journey
Beyond adding physical capacity, the expansion aims to deliver a more integrated patient experience. That means facilitating easier access to specialised services, accelerating diagnostic pathways, expanding outpatient services, and strengthening the links between consultation, diagnosis, treatment, recovery and follow-up care.
