1. JBR (Jumeirah Beach Residence)
Calm water, The Walk restaurants, water sports in season. Metro DMCC plus tram or short walk. Municipality mat fees often AED 5–10 on busy days.
2. Kite Beach (Umm Suqeim)
Kitesurfing, volleyball, running track, food trucks. More active than JBR; arrive before 10 am on Saturdays for parking.
3. La Mer / J1
Redeveloped Jumeirah 1 dining and lagoon areas — check whether you are on the public beach or a private club with separate pricing.
4. Al Mamzar Beach Park
Large park-beach on the Sharjah border with picnic lawns and rental chalets. Per-person entry commonly around AED 5 (plus vehicle charge).
5. Al Sufouh (Black Palace Beach)
Quieter stretch near Madinat Jumeirah with fewer facilities — bring shade; respect palace perimeter signs.
