Dubai Municipality maintains dozens of parks; these five cover central landmarks, family barbecues, and seasonal flowers.
1. Zabeel Park (~47.5 ha)
Home to the Dubai Frame (separate ticket), lakes, jogging tracks, and barbecue lawns. Public entry is typically around AED 5 per person with NOL cards accepted at gates — confirm signage on arrival.
2. Creek Park
Shaded paths along Dubai Creek in Bur Dubai; cable car and children's play areas. Low single-digit AED entry; strong option if you are already exploring the old creek.
3. Mushrif Park (Mirdif)
Ghaf woodland, swimming pool (seasonal), bike hire, and an international village of model houses. Car plus per-person fees apply (often cited around AED 10 entry per vehicle bundle — check on-site boards).
4. Al Barsha Pond Park
Neighbourhood park near Mall of the Emirates with a jogging loop and paddle boats. Often free or nominal entry; good for a short evening walk.
5. Dubai Miracle Garden (seasonal)
Open roughly November–May (confirm at miraclegarden.ae). Ticketed floral displays; adjacent Butterfly Garden is separate admission. Not a free municipal park, but the headline outdoor attraction in winter.
Tip: Visit after 4 pm in summer; carry water and an NOL card.
