Sharjah Art Foundation's Vantage Point 13 opens in August, bringing a fresh line-up of documentary photography to Gallery 2 at the Photography Gallery in Al Manakh. For anyone in the UAE who follows contemporary photography, this is a free, easy trip to Sharjah worth putting on the list.
The biannual exhibition gathers six artists working in documentary photography: Luisa Dörr, Latifa AlBokhari, Sathish Kumar, Adam Rouhana, Guanyu Xu, and Maheder Haileselassie. All the works on show are new.
The show is curated by Sara Al Mheiri, Assistant Curator, and Osemudiamen Ekore, Curatorial Assistant, both of Sharjah Art Foundation.
Vantage Point 13 runs from August 8 to November 29 at Gallery 2, Photography Gallery, Al Manakh, Sharjah.

The gallery is open Saturday to Thursday from 9am to 9pm, and on Fridays from 4pm to 9pm. Admission is free.
